Rate: FT/HC (Hourly core) PT/HF (Hourly flex) DOE $10.00 - $14.00 + Commissions
Experience desired: 2 years retail or resort guest service or combination of both.

We’ve got FULL TIME & PART TIME positions as a Retail Sales Associate for you in Kirkwood Mountain Sports located in the Village Mountain Plaza at Kirkwood Mountain Resort. Check out the job description below to see if you fit the bill.
As a member of our Retail Sales Team, you will provide the best shopping experience possible for each and every customer. Using product knowledge and your personality, you will provide exceptional service to our customers and build relationships with them as a salesperson. Our goal is to develop customers for life, so we must do whatever necessary to satisfy the needs of the customer. When not directly involved with customers, you will work to maintain the best shopping environment for our customers including stocking and organizing the sales floor and keeping a clean and safe place to shop and work.
Job Description/Duties:
Provide first rate Customer Service to each and every customer in the store with the understanding that Customer Service is our #1 priority. Display a "customer comes first" attitude at all times.
Maintain store appearance and visual merchandising standards.
Perform register and merchandising tasks, such as re-stock, re-merchandising of wall sets and floor fixtures, displays, pricing, markdowns and transfers.
Be a team player and contribute to the daily success of the store by working closely with all members of the sales team and management.
Study product details and features to better understand what we offer in merchandise and the benefits and value the goods provide to our customers.
Provide a safe and clean store for our customers to shop.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
•Some retail experience preferred, but not required.
•Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and co-workers of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
•Ability to get along well with customers and co-workers.
•Able to work well in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
•Maintain store standards, cash handling and the merchandising presentation.
•Ability to maintain strong customer service standards at all times.
•Excellent verbal, social and interpersonal skills.
•Be a self-starter and use good judgment in all situations.
