Many of you who ski and ride here on the weekends will have seen the Discovery Blind coaches and their students cruising around the hill in their bright orange vests. The level of skill and dedication on the coaches behalfs and trust on the students behalf is simply amazing and we are so proud to have been involved with this program for many years.
Discovery Blind Sports is dedicated to fostering self-sufficiency in blind and visually impaired children and adults by improving their mobility, confidence, independence, and social skills through involvement in physical activities. The program has pioneered methods of teaching these challenging sports to the visually impaired and also helped raise public awareness.
