We met at Zip HQ around 8pm to get kitted out with our harnesses & helmets, then our group of 6 zippers were ready. We set out right around dusk in a couple of ATVs and made a bee-line for the top of Chair 7 (a ride which, by the way, was almost as thrilling as the actual Zipping!). We reached the first platform just as the sun was setting. By the time we had completed our first zip and reached the second platform we were pretty much in complete darkness, the red glow of glowsticks offering just enough light to light up the faces of the people around us.
Our trusty, and highly entertaining guides Wade & Elliot lead us through the course which consisted of 8 zip lines, 3 suspension bridges, a floating step and 3 hours of thrills and laughter.
All you have to do is sit back (well jump of a platform some 80ft in the air and into the darkness) and enjoy the ride!
