Morning,
It's a beautiful day up here at Kirkwood. High clouds, cold and over 1 foot of snow blanketing the resort and mountain. Here is a pic taken this morning across from the Kirkwood Inn through the Meadow.
Weather looks like it's going to warm up slightly here over the next few day with no significant precipitation and highs in the mid-40's. Nothing too dramatic and the snow we have should stay. The real news is a BIG system that looks like it going to hit Kirkwood next weekend, starting Friday with significant snow. Check out the Weather Underground link for more info on this. Still a bit early to say how big this is and how much snow we will receive up here, but depending on results, it will allow us to make the call an opening. We will follow this one closely
I'm planning on booting up this afternoon for a few turns. Will keep you posted on developments.
