Hola my friends,
Wow, What a day end the season here at Kirkwood. I do not remember a May 29th with conditions this good. Mother Nature this season was so kind to us out here in the (209) & acroos the entire Tahoe Basin. The reacp of this season: “Deep Cold Smoke POW!”, It seems only a few weeks ago that we were calling for the “super storm”. Todd Offenbacher, Jon Wehan and I seemed to be the only true beleivers, then she hit and man did Mother Nature deliver it…. Then June “uary” was all but a faint memeory! It was Pow, Pow, more Pow & Pow…. The winter of 2010/2011 should go down in the books as a good one for sure. Now we have to look forward, We will re-open once again on the 4th of July weekend. If you still have the itch and need some white sliding theropy there are still a few resorts open. Mammoth & Squaw Valley… Or just look to Tioga Pass and but of course we have Red Lakes & the side-country out here at the Wood.

I think that’s it that’s all, I am looking forward to sunshine & the warmth of the coastal California dreamin… The van needs a little more wrok then we are off with Sakima & TaTonka to never –ever land or Coastlandia. It has been a fantastic & remarkable season sharing with you all out here online and socially on the big FB..
