Well folks, we received a bit of snow today and the resort is ramping up for full time operations starting Saturday. Nothing huge in terms of accumulation, but an important shift in the weather pattern as that massive high pressure system seems to be moving out. We all know that it's now just a matter of time before we started to get pummelled with storm after storm in classic Kirkwood fashion.
Lots of activity at the Wood this week. Snow makers and grooming team have been working to ensure that we have great coverage on all trails. Chairs 5, 11 and 1 will be running on Saturday and we are pumped to be working 7-days a week.
Tons of promos happening as well. $49 lift tickets, locals ride for Free next Tuesday, kids under 12 ski and ride for free next week! What else could you ask for.
