Hey folks,
Drove back from SF last night. All of the rain in city was BIG TIME snow at Kirkwood!! The team is at the Snowbomb Ski & Snowboard Festival at Fort Mason. Everyone is stoked on the weather and snow and the vibe is awesome. Great times, and if you have not gone, you should definately go today and say hello to the Kirkwood team.
It's still snowing up here at Kirkwood and in the last 12 hours we've received 6-8" giving us just over 1 ft on the deck. Check out the web cam for how it looks up here at 7'800 ft. Rember, this is at the base and we all know that it's deeper up on the mountain. Potential is there for another legendary Kirkwood early opening. We will keep you posted on developments.
I'm going to boot up a little later this morning. Will take some pics and video and post.
